Briefing
Sikkim is a Himalayan state bordering Nepal, China and Bhutan, home to Kangchenjunga, India's highest peak and the world's third-highest mountain. It became India's first fully organic-farming state and draws visitors for its Buddhist monasteries and mountain scenery, with tourism and horticulture forming key parts of its economy.
